For auction is a vintage Mens Benrus watch. The case size width is about 34mm without crown. The watch has some wear for its age (please see pictures). The watch has not been checked for accuracy, but seems to keep good time over the last two days. The case bezel is roll gold plated. The watch band is leather. The watch is old and therefore sold as is. This watch is only for sale and shipping within the continental United States. Good Luck in your bidding. These Retro Style Vintage watches are likely from the 1940-60s era; they are being sold for parts and/or repair. One owner; both are Ladies watches and were recovered from my parental home. They are both non-working and show wear considerable wear and discoloration of metallic surfaces. The watch with the gold colored finish is identified as a “Benrus Swiss” watch; “10K RGP Bezel, St. Steel Back, 623639”. The watch with the silver colored finish is identified as a “Timex” watch; “CHR Plated Bezel, B Steel Back”. I am NOT a Professional Estate / Tag Seller/Buyer. The watch has an appealing tonneau shaped gold plated case with hooded lugs. It features a desirable seconds sub-dial. The watch is in great condition and working well for a watch this old. Here are the details: Movement Original Benrus Model BB-2 Swiss 15 Jewels Mechanical Winding Movement. It is clean and working well. Once in a while it needs to be shaken after winding to get it going. It is keeping reasonably good time for a vintage mechanical watch. Service history is unknown and a service is recommended as with all vintage mechanical watches to ensure optimal working. Case Original 29.2 mm (with crown) tonneau shaped Gold Plated case. The case has some plating loss and light scratches. No deep scratches, dents or scuffs. Crown surprisingly has no loss of plating. Crystal Scratches consistent with age and use. I have not attempted to polish or buff it to maintain originality. Dial Attractive gold dial with black Arabic hour markers and metallic dark blue hands. It features a seconds sub-dial. Dial is signed “BENRUS”and “SWISS”. Dial has some age related spotting but hour marks and inscriptions are all intact. Please review separately pictured dial without the case. Bracelet After market Black Crocodile grain leather band that appears to be new or recently changed. I have included several pictures of the watch and movement. Please refer to them for condition and details as they are part of the description. Please note that all close-up pictures are taken on the macro setting to show detail. This makes even the slightest imperfections, shadows during photography, and specks of dust appear much more prominent even though they are often not visible without magnification.
