Omega Automatic De Ville 162.045 Cal 1002 Quickset Date Grey Blue Dial 1970 HTF Please see photographs for condition - the pictures form an important part of the description. This Omega 162.045 watch is a harder to find model and a unique statement piece for the Omega enthusiast. It features the 1002 automatic movement. This one has a blue/grey coloured dial, I have seen some people refer to it as purple but I guess it is up to interpretation! The dial batons are silver with white centers, hour and minute hands are white and seconds hand is silver, they complement each other very well. The watch has its original crystal with Omega emblem in the center. The stainless steel case has marks from wear but is in very good condition considering the pieces is 54 years old.The case is 32.2mm in diameter excluding the crown and 33.3mm with the crown. Strap is a new dark grey black Condor strap which goes nicely with the dial. This is a long strap. I am unaware of the service history of the piece but there are service marks in the case back including dates for 2014 and 2017. The watch comes with a red Omega travel case. The watch keeps very good time, currently to within 1 minute every 24 hours. The 1002 movement was known for its accuracy.
