Vintage 80s Orfina Porsche Military 7177 Lemania 5100 Top Gun PD01 PD02 CHRONOGRAPH. Amazing overall condition, very well preserved Lemania 5100 Military Orfina PD chrono with almost intact the factory antiglare matte grey pvd finish(these usually have the issue of partial or total lack of this factory finish). This Military chronograph ref 7177 was manufactured by Orfina for Italian fighter pilots under contract with the O.T.A.N some of them marked NATO at dials, other not as this one knowed as Military marked at dial and caseback (but civilian) version, in fact comes from an Italo/Swiss Eurofighter Typhoon pilot. Watch was serviced by Orfina 8 years ago, still works great and keeping time in the +- 8 sec/day range depending position, charge, temperature, altitude etc. The genuine Lemania 5100 signed by Orfina is, as you can see, clean and appears in very good health. The screwed type original PD crown, screws, wind and sets properly. The watch has few light scratches here and there, crystal has micro light chips but barely noticeable, dial is almost perfect with even toasted patina with the matching tritium hands, please study the pictures since are importantpart of description. By the way, Ive been using this watch in the last decade in rotation with others, and as an used old watch isnt perfect but a true beauty over the wrist. Is, I think, a late 80s 7177 version so about 35 years old time piece in all its glory, please, assuming its age I cant guarantee future performance or accuracy, but for sure plenty of life inside, in fact watch was tested to 5atm but sincerely, due its age I dont recommend it for water sports. The matching NSA bracelet has minor stretching, shows great condition too...was sized to my 18cm wrist long ago, and unfortunately I havent the spare links. Accompanied with an Orfina Bund genuine old leather strap in flawlessly condition that fits perfect in the Military essence of this watch. Dial and hands show amazing patina, aged with minimum signs of wear and zero rust. An iconic timepiece, probably IMHO one of the best 7 hands chronograph ever made. Recently Porsche launched another re edition of these for, at least, 4X the price of this one, this is your chance to get the real thing at good, fair price.
